Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung has done a lot for Android, and this year it has the best Android phone so far. The Galaxy Note 8 has an excellent camera, it’s fast and it’s arguably the prettiest Android phone out there. It’s meant for flagship buyers who don’t want any compromise whatsover, and if money is no bar, this is the Android phone to buy

Samsung Galaxy S8
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a great design and is without a doubt the most beautiful smartphone on the market today. It runs on a fast and up to date Exynos 8895 SoC, built on the 10nm process. Samsung has touched up on the camera as well, but it’s largely the same as last time. That, though means that the camera is still amongst the best in the market. Just not better than the Google Pixel (which is also why it’s behind that phone). The Galaxy S8 is the best Android smartphone for those looking for looks above all else.

Samsung Galaxy S8+
The same applies to the Samsung Galaxy S8+ too. It’s an extremely powerful smartphone, but unlike the S8, this one’s meant for big screen lovers. It has a 6.2 inch QHD display and Samsung’s AMOLED panels look as good as ever. It carries the same design as the Galaxy S8 and is the most ergonomic big screen smartphone today. To make a long story short, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ is the smartphone to buy if big screen and attractive looks are your priorities.

Google Pixel XL
After partnering with multiple phone makers over the years, Google has finally produced a smartphone which is made by Google through and through. Right from the software of the phone to the design, everything is done by Google. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 powered device is easily the best Android smartphone you can buy today. It offers a very familiar design and a superb 2K display. Google has also incorporated a brilliant camera on the phone which can easily stand against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and even the iPhone 7. If 5.5-inch is too large for you to handle, you can go for the 5-inch Google Pixel.
5
OnePlus 5
All things considered, the OnePlus 5 is a great smartphone, and it’s even better as an Android phone. In fact, it’s the fastest Android smartphone out there today. For Android lovers, and especially the enthusiasts, the OnePlus 5 is a good phone to consider. It has a commendable but not perfect camera, but it will do the job very well. Combined with decent battery life, it makes for a great smartphone
6
LG G6
LG didn’t change a whole lot between the LG G5 and LG G6, which is why this flagship remains behind the OnePlus 3T. However, the LG G6 does follow the newer Univisium standard, allowing it to be compact. With the Snapdragon 821 SoC, this is more or less as powerful as the LG G5 and it has the same wide angle dual-camera setup on the back. Using the same sensors on both cameras, LG was able to allow seamless zoom this time, and the overall camera quality is great. The LG G6 is a decent flagship, one that ticks most of the right boxes
7
HTC U11
HTC’s flagship for the year, the U11 brings together a nice combination of performance, camera prowess and design. Like all flagship phones of this year, the U11 is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. There is 6GB of RAM on the phone, along with 128GB of storage. All this makes the phone superfast, no matter what you throw at it. However, what we liked more on the phone was the 12MP rear camera, which takes really good pictures.
8
Sony Xperia XZ1
Yes, it’s sad that Sony ignores new design methodologies, but that doesn’t mean the Xperia XZ1 is a poor phone. In fact, it’s one of the fastest Android phone out there, and it’s the only phone in India that offers Android Oreo out of the box right now. That has to count for something when talking about the best Android smartphone today
9
Sony Xperia XZ Premium
When it comes to update records, Sony is one of the best in the business. That, a 4K display and 960fps slow motion video recording may be all one needs to make a buying decision. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is unique looking smartphone, and while it’s still a little behind other flagships, it’s a phone you can consider.
10
Honor 8 Pro
The Honor 8 Pro comes with Huawei’s custom UI and chipset, but the phone is still considerably fast and snappy. It also takes good photos through the dual-camera setup and is affordably priced when compared to most other flagships. It’s an Android phone worth considering for sure.
